One day in the Spring of 1979, Bonnie put a hand-written note on a music store bulletin board: “Female Vocalist looking for band”. About 15 minutes later Steve (bass player in a band) went into the same store and wrote down her name and number. He called her that day! A few days later Bonnie joined the band. God had a plan! Joined in marriage later that year, they met Christ soon after and began to serve the Lord. When Bonnie got filled with the Holy Spirit, her love of singing and music was magnified when she received a psalmist gift. She has been writing songs of praise and worship and songs of encouragement since that day. It’s been an amazing journey!
Bonnie and Steve have ministered as worship leaders, intercessors and in other church leadership positions in Colorado, Texas and now in Pennsylvania, as well as some international ministry through the years. Their music has come as they have spent time in worship and prayer, their highest calling. Kingdom Saturation Music brings the atmosphere of heaven, the Presence of God and His divine expression through intercession and prayer, prophetic words, decrees and songs.
This is a season for recording the music that has been written and there are many songs to be recorded! The current new release, “Come to the Waters” is a soaking CD for drawing near to the Lord. The next project will be more upbeat, with praise and ballads; using guitars, percussion and other instruments. We’re excited!
Our Journey from Colorado to Pennsylvania
In July of 2014, I (Bonnie) began to experience major pain and discomfort in my eye and went to the eye doctor. I was sent to an ophthalmologist the next day and found out both of my eyes had deteriorating corneas due to eye surgeries I had in 2007 to implant lenses for my vision. I could try medication first, but would probably need corneal transplants. Needless to say, I felt like I got hit by a bus! After ten months of partial blindness and much pain the doctor began surgeries on me. I had those lenses removed from behind the corneas one at a time and with damage to the irises I had to have time to recover after each surgery. I then had corneal transplants, one at a time, and recovery and then had cataract surgery on each eye. During the process of eye surgeries, Steve had a major heart attack one day after shoveling snow before he left for work. As they took him away by ambulance, a fireman who had responded to our emergency told me that Steve was red coded and might not make it. I stood there in my robe, food was cooking in the oven that Steve planned to take to work with him for Super Bowl Sunday and I couldn’t drive, because I still couldn’t see. In shock I thought, “This can’t be happening!” My next door neighbor offered to take me to the hospital, and I got there while they were doing the procedure on Steve.
Steve did recover with new stents in his heart (he had his first heart attack about ten years before), but wasn’t recovering as quickly as he had after his first attack. I completed five of my six eye surgeries when things started to get difficult financially and we made the decision through prayer to move to a little town in N. E. Pennsylvania where our daughter and her family lived. She found us an apartment for less than half of what we were paying for our townhome in Colorado and Steve left the high stress sales job for early retirement in July of 2015. Our income went way down, but for the first few years we lived here he worked part-time to supplement his social security until COVID hit. We used all of our retirement fund to pay for my surgeries and our move across the country. Our new life was so much less stressful and slowly, but surely Steve recovered. I had my final cataract surgery after we moved to Pennsylvania. My vision is not perfect, but so much better than it was, and I am so thankful!
The Lord directed our move and helped us to see that a big part of His purpose for us was to take us to the foundation place of our nation to intercede for America! I studied William Penn and other founders before we moved with an excitement for what God would do through our prayer and worship. It has proven to be an extremely strategic time to be brought here for prayer and we intercede and worship together daily for our church body, specific ministries, missionaries, healings, marriages, our nation, Israel, and ministries there, as well as other nations, etc. This is such a privilege to have the time to do this ministry together during this season of our lives and we have seen much fruit! As you can see, we’ve been called to much more than just producing music. And we are truly in full time ministry for this season of our lives. We were ordained through Consuming Heart Ministries in Houston, TX in 2003 and are still currently ordained with them. We also have the joy of ministering in worship in our church, Peckville Assembly of God.
